Connect with me!Kevin walked into his high school every single day completely unaccounted for. No one verified that he entered the building. Attendance was taken by hand - if it was taken at all. Hall passes were literal blocks of wood. And everyone just accepted it.
But Kevin never accepted it - and this wasn’t the first time. In high school, he founded a club called the Student Pipeline, created to do something no one in his district had done before: give students a direct line to the Board of Education. Kevin became the district’s first-ever student liaison to the board - bridging the communication gap between students and administrators, delivering real feedback, and fighting to improve the student experience from the inside. It taught him something crucial: the systems meant to serve students were rarely built with students in mind.
That realization never left him. So when he looked around and saw schools that couldn’t answer the most basic safety question - who is actually in this building right now? - he didn’t wait for someone else to fix it. He built MOOV. What started as a vision born out of firsthand frustration has grown into a system now serving some of the smallest and largest schools in the country - featured on FOX and sweeping across districts nationwide. But the road wasn’t easy. Kevin built MOOV from scratch - writing software, wiring hardware, pitching established administrators, and proving that a young founder could solve a problem the education system had ignored for decades.
Kevin was also a walk-on to the Notre Dame Men’s Rowing Team and a United States Marine - two commitments that taught him what it means to have grit, stay disciplined, and be a part of something larger than himself.

Connect with me!Samera grew up inside the education system - quite literally. She started preschool the same year her mother became an assistant teacher, and for years, they walked into the same building every morning. Watching her mother rise from the classroom to school administration taught Samera early that education is a responsibility and privilege.
A salutatorian and highly engaged student, Samera thrived academically and in leadership - yet she was also chronically late. Not out of defiance or disengagement, but because she struggled with motivation, structure, and behavioral accountability. Her graduation cap, decorated with late passes, showed a student who cared but still felt the friction of outdated systems that failed to change her behavior.
Instead of dismissing that experience, Samera leaned into it. She pursued a dual BA/MA in Psychology at The New School, focused on understanding what actually motivates students to show up, and how systems can be designed to support, not punish, behavior change. Along the way, she led qualitative and quantitative research, supported consulting projects, and managed student government.
That intersection of psychology, data, and operations ultimately led her to MOOV, where she helps schools modernize attendance, safety, and accountability. Today, Samera works to build systems that improve student experiences, empower educators, and turn insight into impact.
